About COVID-19
What is COVID-19?
COVID-19 is new virus that is thought to originate in Wuhan, China, beginning in early December, 2019. It manifests as a respiratory ailment for the most part, but gastrointestinal symptoms are also observed. It is airborne and is spread though infected mucous by sneezing, coughing, breathing. Once it enters the body through the lungs, many other organs can be affected and lead to death. It may be transmitted by touching contaminated surfaces and objects and then putting one’s hands to eyes, nose, or mouth. Signs/ symptoms range from very mild to very severe leading to death.
